Shopping Centres - Openings during the first half of the year 2017 and Projects for the second half of the year
During the first half of the year 2017, Codata has listed 32 shopping centre openings in the ten studied European countries. France heads the list with 10 new shopping centres . 3 distinguish themselves by their size: Designer Outlet Roermond in Roermond (The Netherlands) with 190 shops, Val d'Europe in Serris (France) with 178 shops and Designer Outlet Parndorf in Parndorf (Austria) with 151 shops.

Regarding projects for the second half of the year, no less than 109 shopping centres will open their doors: 74 are creations and 35 are extensions of a pre-existing site.

Codata Digests - a source of information on retail
Annually, Codata releases several Digests. In a few dozen pages, a Codata Digest summarises information comprised within Codata dabatases on retail real estate in a country. In 2017, Codata released the Codata Digest France and the Codata Digest Belgium.
