Berlin-Charlottenburg: Kurfürstendamm includes various shopping centres: Berlin Zoologischer Garten, Europa-Center, Ku'Damm Karree, Neues Kranzler Eck and Stilwerk Berlin. The main axis is Kurfürstendamm. Retailers such as Karstadt, H&M and Zara are situated in the northern part of the city while Cartier, Saint-Laurent and Chanel are located in the south.

Berlin-Mitte includes 7 shopping centres: Alea 101 (project), Alexa, Bahnhof Berlin Alexanderplatz, Berlin Carré, CityQuartier DomAquarée, Die Mitte and Rathaus Passagen. Most national retailers are located on those sites, especially in Alexa, the largest shopping centre of the district (195 shops such as Gerry Weber, Bench., Bonita etc.)

In the periurban area, there are 14 shopping streets to which 20 shopping centres are linked. The most important sites are Berlin: Alte Potsdamer Straße with the shopping centre Potsdamer Platz Arkaden (115 shops such as Colloseum, Deichmann, Marc O’Polo etc.), the cluster Berlin: Märkische Allee and the shopping centre Eastgate Berlin (145 shops such as Douglas, Jack Wolfskin, s.Oliver etc.)
