In shopping streets, national retailers represent 39.4% of all shops. They are located on 5 main axes. From the north to the south, mass-market retailers such as WE, Lush, Bershka and Blokker are situated on Nieuwendijk, Kalverstraat and Leidsestraat while Pieter Cornelisz Hooftstraat and Van Baerlestraat gather "upmarket shops" such as Caroline Biss, Gaastra, Hugo Boss and Marina Rinaldi.
